Hi Kelly,
I love the idea of being spontaneous on vacation! There is nothing better than waking up and seeing where the colors of the wind take you, especially at Disney World where there is so much to see and do!
Disney World no longer requires you to have
theme park reservations for date-based tickets. If you selected the date range of your visit when you purchased tickets, you do not need to worry about where you visit each day. You will also have selected either a 1 Park Per Day ticket or the
Park Hopper Option when you made your ticket purchase. The 1 Park Per Day option lets you wake up and pick whichever theme park speaks to you but you can only choose 1 theme park each day. If you have the Park Hopper Option you can go to as many of Disney's theme parks in a day as your heart desires. The only thing stopping you may be your feet!
Since you will be visiting without a solid day-to-day plan, I also recommend utilizing the
Mobile Dine Walk-up Availability feature in the
My Disney Experience app. This is a great way to get a last-minute dining reservation at some of the most popular Disney World restaurants. My favorite walk-up reservation to snag is at Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. The food, atmosphere, and jokes there are next level!
Happy Planning,
Jenna
