Hiya Sharon,
Welcome to
planDisney! We are so excited that you are here! I am thrilled to be chatting with you about one of my favorite topics,
Private VIP Tours. I did my very first one over at Disneyland Resort last year and enjoyed it so much that I’m currently planning my second tour, this time at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
Before I start chatting about VIP Tours, Sharon, I did want to let you know that no tour allows you to skip lines, but select tours do allow you accelerated access, typically through Lightning Lane entrances. You could be thinking of
Lightning Lane Premier Pass, which allows you one-time entry to every available Lightning Lane experience in one park for one day. This would be the accelerated access you are thinking of but doesn’t include a tour aspect. A Private VIP Tour is a customizable experience that gives you and up to 9 additional Guests incredible access to attractions and VIP viewing areas for shows, fireworks, and parades, as well as the unparalleled guidance of a dedicated tour guide. It really is an experience that will have you feeling spoiled and pampered. Want to hop to multiple parks? They can help you do it with ease. Care more about character interactions? They’ve got you covered. Want to ride
TRON Lightcycle / Run, multiple times in a row? No problem. You share your wish list, must-dos, and faves, and with the help of a VIP tour, a special itinerary is created just for you and your group! Currently, tour pricing ranges from $450 to $950 per hour, and tours must be a minimum of 7 hours (maximum of 10 hours). The tour price does not include theme park admission; however, you will need to purchase theme park tickets separately before the tour starts. Also, all Guests, regardless of age, are included in the Guest total. So even if you have an infant, they count towards the 10. Private VIP Tours can only be booked by calling the Disney Private VIP Tour line, 60 days before your check-in date!
Does this sound like what you are looking for, Sharon? If so, I know we are a ways away from next April, but you can also chat with a Cast Member over the phone at the VIP Tour line to learn about any tips and tricks they have for your dream tour. In the last month, I’ve called and chatted with Cast Members several times before my reservation window opens, just to brainstorm the best things for my family and ask any questions that come to mind. They have been super helpful and made my decision to make a reservation even easier. If there is anything else we can do at planDisney, please come back and see us. We would be honored to be as helpful as possible.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
