Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Golfing at Walt Disney World in Orlando is an overlooked treat! The courses are fantastic, and it is so easy to book a tee time at any of the courses, either online or via phone.
There is more than one course at Walt Disney World, so research ahead of time to pick the one that matches your game. The options include
Disney's Magnolia Golf CourseDisney's Oak Trail Golf Course (9-hole walking course)
Disney's Lake Buena Vista Golf CourseDisney's Palm Golf CourseMy preference is to book online, and all you need to do is visit the site for your preferred course. I link to all their pages above. About halfway down their respective pages, you will see an online link that takes you to their reservation site. That site also offers a lot more information about the courses, including some flyover videos. From there you can choose your course, date, party size, and time.
If you would rather call, simply dial
(407) WDW-GOLF or
(407) 939-4653. While reservations are highly recommended, they said they can occasionally accommodate walk-ups or last-minute singles.
BONUS TIP #1The Magnolia course is currently undergoing an extensive redesign. It is open current as a 14-hole course, with the remaining holes opening soon. My suggestion is to go to the Palm. It has been used for PGA events in the past, so it is a great golfing experience.
BONUS TIP #2Maybe you have time for one more round? What about miniature golf? Walt Disney World has two great courses,
Winter Summerland Miniature Golf and
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf.
BONUS TIP #3Few know this, but complimentary transportation via taxi is available to select Walt Disney World Resort hotel guests. Just ask the Bell Services desk at your hotel for your ride there, and the Pro Shop at the course for the ride home, and you will save yourself a lot of hassle! Check with your hotel staff ahead of time to see if they are part of this program, as the list can change over time.
Have a Magical Vacation!Doug
