I am a Disney passholder, and also a leader to a local corp. I made reservations for a teambuilding event at your Golf Club. Later, I would like to bring my team of 35 people to a Magic Kingdom Resort to have drinks? How can I do that?

    Welcome Lynetta,

Thanks for coming to planDisney to help plan this special event for your team at work! I love that as an Annual Passholder, you want to share the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort to help bring people together. I agree that teambuilding and bonding outside of the traditional workplace makes a professional team stronger, gives a greater understanding of each other, and ultimately everyone performs better when focused on a task. Let’s look at options for your desire to get everyone into Magic Kingdom Park after the golf club event.

There are two great resources for helping to plan a group event or securing many theme park tickets for the Walt Disney World Resort. First, please reach out to Disney Meetings and Events to inquire about a group activity at Magic Kingdom. This team designs events of all sizes and can direct you to the best place for drinks together or how to secure space, even if they don’t manage the entire event for you. Next, please contact the Group Gatherings team at 407-939-4686 (hours vary, but available seven days a week) for support in purchasing many theme park tickets for your established event. These two resources can work together to help you finalize this vision and bring your team on an unforgettable visit.

It sounds like this upcoming team event is nearly finalized, but for future ideas of team learning and connection, I encourage you to check out Disney Institute. They are the business consulting arm of the Walt Disney Company and offer one-day or multi-day courses and events sharing insights and lessons from 100 years of doing business at Disney. They offer options for content virtually, on-site at your location, and on-site at the Walt Disney World Resort. Rather than pushing their processes on you, they encourage you to extract these lessons and apply them to your own industry, business, and culture for upleveling your results. I’ve attended a few courses and events, and Disney Institute always impresses with their great business acumen, Disney stories, and even “field experiences” to see some special behind-the-scenes views of the Walt Disney World Resort. I think this would be a wonderful way for your team to continue to build on the upcoming event you have planned.

I hope this helps you finalize a wonderful professional gathering for your colleagues, Lynetta. Please let us know what other questions you have and how we can help.

    Wishing you a wonderful event,
    Amy
