How much is the incidentals hold on a Credit/Debit card at The Grand Californian

    Hi there, Laura!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by to ask us your question about the Disneyland Resort. I’m so glad to hear you’ll be staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa soon! If this will be your first visit, I think you’ll fall in love with the property’s stunning California Craftsman-inspired architecture and details.

Laura, a one-time hold of $250 will be placed on a credit card you provide during check-in to cover incidental charges during your stay. If you do not incur any charges, the hold will be lifted and that amount will be credited back to your card when you check out, although it may take a few business days for the refund to be reflected in your account. You’re welcome to stop at the front desk at any time to inquire about possible charges on your account.

Since you’ll be staying at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, be sure to stop by and see the spooktacular confectionery display in the lobby. It’s handcrafted by the hotel’s talented pastry team and is quite a sight to behold! This year, the creation is inspired by the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She is in her “Old Hag” disguise and cooking up a batch of her signature poison apples in a giant bubbling cauldron!

I hope this answers your question, Laura, and that your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is filled with pixie-dusted surprises! Please visit again for more tips and advice before your vacation begins.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
