Hi I’m 30 years young. For my bachelorette my mum and I are going to Epcot. Can I wear my gown I made for the eras tour to the Royal lunch in Norway?

    Hi there, Nicole!

As a fellow Mouseketeer (and Swiftie) in her thirties, it's my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney!

Walt Disney World is my very favorite place to mark life's milestones, so I think you'll be so glad that you chose to celebrate your love story in EPCOT! Whether you're hoping to enjoy thrill rides like Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, chill rides like Living with the Land, delightful eats from around the globe, the colorful gardens and iconic topiaries of the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, or a little bit of everything, it's sure to be the best day with your mom!

I know first-hand, just how much time and attention is required to create the practically perfect Eras Tour outfit, so I completely understand your desire to be, once again, in your best dress fearless as you mark the end of your bachelorette era. While Walt Disney World Resort doesn't specifically prohibit the wearing of gowns in theme parks at this time, Walt Disney World's attire guidelines do state that clothing cannot drag or touch the ground as this poses a safety hazard to yourself and other Guests. You'll also want to be sure that your gown doesn't expose excessive amounts of skin or closely resemble the gown of any character as costumes are prohibited in Walt Disney World's theme parks. With this said, it's important to keep in mind that your admission to the theme park would ultimately be up to Cast Member discretion based upon whether or not the attire 'could detract from the experience of other Guests'. Since you mentioned that you made the gown yourself, you might consider shortening it before your visit if the length is of particular concern so that you can be spinning like a girl in a brand-new dress

No matter what you choose to wear, Nicole, be sure to accessorize it with a complimentary celebration button. These can be picked up at the Front Desk of Disney Resort Hotels, Guest Relations locations, and points of sale in many storefronts and are sure to make you the recipient of heartfelt well-wishes from Cast Members and fellow Guests throughout the day!

One final tip before you go: Since you're sure to be dressed to impress, don't miss the colorful Flower & Garden Festival displays. They make incredible backdrops for photos that will be practically perfect for capturing moments of your Lover era.

Long live all the magic you'll make, Nicole!
