Anchors aweigh, Keri!
I'm so glad you sailed by planDisney with your dapper question. I love planning out my
dinner attire for Disney Cruise Line vacations. I enjoy coordinating my outfits with the
Rotational Dining venue themes. Some friends and I went all in with the "Roaring 20's" theme at
1923 aboard Disney Wish and had the best time!
Keri, you will be happy to know that you can wear your nice straw hat to dinner on casual nights. One of the great things about a Disney cruise is seeing Guests enjoying expressing themselves at meals through their attire (swimwear and athletic tank tops are not allowed). The
adult-exclusive restaurants do have an elevated dress code, so keep that in mind if you are dining there.
If you are in the market for another straw hat, I spied an adorable one recently at
Sea Treasures on Disney Dream. I expect you will find them across the fleet at the gift shops. Here is a tip from a frequent sailor, Keri––if you see an item you love, buy it when you see it since items may sell out during the cruise. If you find something you would rather have later, you can always return the first item, or do what I do: keep them both!
I hope this helps you check one thing off your
packing list. Hats off to you for getting in ship-shape early!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
