Hello, I'm wondering if I get married off-site (in Celebration, hopefully), can I go to Disney Springs afterwards and take some pictures of my FH and myself? For reference, I will be wearing a knee-length dress and he will be in a shirt and shorts.

    Hi Angela,

Thanks for coming back to planDisney with another question! Several years ago, my husband and I were married in Disney’s Wedding Pavilion and the planning process was such a fun experience. I know several brides who planned a ceremony in Celebration and incorporated Disney magic into their day in other ways.

Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules state that photography, videotaping, or recording of any kind is not allowed if it is for unapproved commercial purposes. Since you are planning on keeping these photos with your new husband as memories of your wedding, you should have no issues taking photos at Disney Springs. This may be subject to change and is at the discretion of the Security and Cast Members at Disney Springs.  It is important to remember that proper attire must be worn at all times, including no dresses that touch the ground. Also please show courtesy to other Guests enjoying Disney Springs and refrain from blocking walkways or disruptive behavior.

I’d like to make another suggestion for making a wedding day memory, Angela! Visit Disney’s Days of Christmas in the Marketplace area of Disney Springs. Here you’ll find a wide selection of Disney-related ornaments, including wedding themed! Depending on the design of the ornament you choose, you can also get your ornament personalized with your names or wedding date, for a fee.

I hope this was helpful, Angela. I love seeing how wedding planning progresses for brides and grooms. Please come back to visit us at planDisney if you have any more questions as you continue to plan!

    Wishing you happily ever after,
    Kaitlin
