Hi, Daniel, and welcome to planDisney!
I can imagine that you also heard the exciting news presented at this year’s Destination D23 at Walt Disney World Resort. Another mega expansion being conceptualized for Magic Kingdom Park? A reimagined
Test Track? I cannot wait for these projects to get started, but I understand that it can be worrisome that some of your favorite attractions may be closed to make way for them.
First, remember, some of these projects are a part of “Blue Sky” discussions, such as the fate of the ride
Dinosaur because it is in the soon-to-be reimagined Dinoland U.S.A. So, there is undoubtedly a lot of time between now and when these locations will be closed for Walt Disney Imagineering to work their magic.
As of now, there are no listed closures for November 12-14, 2023 on the Event and Hours Calendar. I cannot see November 16 and 17 yet; however,
check the calendar over the next few days as those new dates will appear. Bookmark the calendar’s webpage to stay up-to-date on any closures during your vacation.
The only attraction that you’ve listed that may be impacted during your trip by the Destination D23 updates is the
Haunted Mansion. The addition of the Hatbox Ghost could close the ride at some point soon because he premieres in late November. However, as I mentioned, there are currently no ride closures listed online.
I hope that this information gives you some peace of mind before embarking on your journey to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Daniel, please
let us know if you have any other questions about your Disney vacation.
Magic always,
LeAndra
