Hi there, Rachel, and welcome back to planDisney!
Some of my best memories at Disney Springs have been celebrating milestones with my friends and family. One of those memories being a night full of joy, music, and laughter for my bachelorette party, making toasts to my then-impending, magical wedding day. That night, we chose to celebrate the occasion at the
House of Blues Restaurant & Bar, which, of course, is my first recommendation for your party’s 21st birthday dinner. Let’s get into the rest, shall we?
If the New Orleans vibe of the House of Blues doesn’t float your boat, there are tons of additional options that are also budget-friendly and lively.
-Terralina Crafted Italian: While I’ve never visited this spot, I hear amazing things about its Italian dishes. If you like a more elevated, wood-fired pizza and a great view overlooking the water (or people-watching from the terrace), this is the place for your group.
-The Edison: This is a fun option that will transport you back to the American Roaring ‘20s. The cocktails are top-notch and the entertainment is some of the best at Disney Springs. Some Guests even dress up in 1920s attire to really get in the mood.
-Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’: This restaurant is my favorite when it comes to menu options. I’m a girl from the American South, so the comfort food is right up my alley. The moonshine is a nice surprise in the middle of Disney Springs, and if you like American cuisine, you will love the choices here. You have to try the Cheddar Cheese Drop Biscuits.
-Now, my final recommendation is outside of Disney Springs: Topolino’s Terrace—Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort. It’s less of a party here and more of a nice dining experience. The menu items are not as expensive as other Resort hotels’ premiere restaurants, and the Italian cuisine is delectable. My favorite part? The rooftop views overlooking Walt Disney World.
Rachel, don’t forget to make an advance dining reservation for whichever restaurant you choose. While you can join a walk-up list for many of the restaurants at Disney Springs, it will give you peace of mind if you’ve already booked a table. You can reserve a restaurant on your
My Disney Experience App. And because many of the restaurants are owned by third-parties, if you can’t find the reservation time that you want, you can reserve a table on other online reservation services as well.
AN EXTRA GEM: My bridesmaids and friends even created a fun scavenger hunt to complete around Disney Springs. We had so much fun at dinner that we didn’t get to complete it; however, if you have time, perhaps have someone in your party create a game. So, although you’ll have a lovely dinner, you’ll also get to wander around the rest of Disney Springs (with a purpose) and can take in everything the beautiful area has to offer.
Rachel, I hope that these recommendations lead you to a celebration of a lifetime! If you have any other questions about your upcoming vacation,
give us a holler here at planDisney. Cheers!
Magic always,
LeAndra
