I’m trying to plan our park hopper one day at the parks in August, for D23 Day. My adult daughter and I have a reservation at Wine Country Trattoria at 7:00pm. How much time, approximately should I set aside for our meal?

    Hi there, Shannon!

Thank you for sending your question to me. The new D23 Day at Disneyland Resort sounds like so much fun! The planDisney Class of 2024 are huge fans of Tarzan, and we are very excited about the new merchandise collection honoring the 25th anniversary of the movie "Tarzan" debuting on August 8, 2024. Grab a spirit jersey in our honor! Spending the day at Disneyland Resort will be the perfect way to kick off D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. I wish I could be there!

My kids love pasta, and Wine Country Trattoria is one of their favorite places to eat. I highly recommend the Pull-Apart Cheese Bread if it is available during your visit. It is a sun-dried tomato focaccia made with herb ricotta, mozzarella, tomato coulis, and micro herbs. So good! The meals typically take about an hour, although I allocate 1.5 hours for our dinners just in case it takes a little longer. Let the Cast Member know if you have an evening commitment once you are seated, and they will do their best to get you out on time. Also, I can usually check in for our reservation 10-15 minutes early on the Disneyland mobile app as I approach the restaurant, which sometimes lets us get seated a little early.

The Disneyland mobile app streamlines our Disneyland Resort vacation. I recommend downloading it now if you have not done so already. We use it all of the time in the theme parks to view wait times, mobile order food, and make Lightning Lane Multi Pass reservations. Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a separately priced service that helps Guests skip the standby lines at many attractions. It is a great way to maximize your time, especially if you are only visiting one day.

Shannon, have a fantastic time at D23! It is always an exciting experience, and I cannot wait to hear if there will be any Disneyland Resort updates.
