I’m trying to make a Goofy’s Kitchen reservation for September. I got up early to try and grab a time slot as soon as they were released. I got the date, however there were no times. This is happening 8/22 and on, the date shows but no times. It is closed?

Greetings, Kaity! Thanks for stopping by planDisney.

It appears that Goofy and his friends might be cooking up something special for Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort, as my planDisney pals and I also noticed a lack of reservations from the end of August into September. Generally, advanced dining reservations open 60 days before a particular date but a friendly Cast Member recently told me that reservations can be released anywhere between two and sixty days out. So, keep checking back, Kaity! And hopefully, Goofy's Kitchen will have some reservations prepped and ready to go soon!

Another option for character dining at the Disneyland Resort is Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park, which is inside Disneyland Park. Can you imagine dining and meeting characters within view of Sleeping Beauty Castle? It sounds like something once upon a dream!  And, Kaity, I also adore Storytellers Cafe for Mickey’s Tales of Adventure Breakfast Buffet. We took my mom there for her last birthday and it was perfect for all of us - ages 7 to 70!

I hope you snag a reservation at Goofy's Kitchen for your visit, Kaity! Please let us know if we can answer any more questions. I'll swing like Tarzan over to help you plan a magical Disneyland vacation!

    See you in the parks,
    Melissa
