Hi there. I’m thinking of booking a stay at the Contemporary resort. Could you let me know if I can ride the monorail all the way to Epcot from the resort or do I need to get a bus? Thanks

    Hey, Karen! Welcome to planDisney.

Disney's Contemporary Resort is an incredible hotel (and not just because the rooms have a snazzy Incredibles theme). Did you know Magic Kingdom Park is just a short walk away? But that's not all. This hotel has been around since Walt Disney World opened in 1971. You can't get more Walt Disney World than this hotel, Karen! There's also a monorail that runs THROUGH the hotel! After all these years, I still think that's impressive! The dining at this resort is second to none too. You can grab breakfast with Mickey and his pals at Chef Mickey's, enjoy a nostalgic and delicious meal at the fan-favorite, Steakhouse 71, or take in spectacular views of Seven Seas Lagoon and watch Happily Ever After by reserving a table at my favorite restaurant, California Grill. You're going to love every second!

To get to EPCOT from Disney's Contemporary Resort, simply take the Monorail and get off at the Transporation and Ticket Center (good news: it's the very next stop). You'll then transfer over to the EPCOT Monorail line which will take you straight to the theme park. You'll be dropped off right at the main entrance. To get back to your hotel, you'll do the same trip but in reverse.

I hope that's Karen. Thanks for stopping by planDisney.
