Hey there, Dianne! Welcome!
I like the way you think. Last-minute
Walt Disney World trips are some of my most memorable, and not because of how much I stressed over booking everything! The spontaneous nature of these trips can really lead to some new experiences.
The first thing I want to suggest is that you check
theme park reservations. Make sure the theme parks you want are available on the days you want to visit. That's going to be the biggest thing to worry about with booking so close to when you want to travel. I did a quick check just now, and it looks like there's great availability, but definitely check right before you
purchase theme park tickets.
You can pre-purchase your
MagicBands online when you make your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel reservation. They will have them waiting for you when you arrive if they can't get them to you before you leave home. You can also buy them when you get there, either at a resort gift shop or in the theme parks.
ShopDisney also has a few available, and they'll ship in time for your vacation. You can also opt to use your smartphone in place of the MagicBand with the
Disney MagicMobile Service.
Also, definitely check out
dining reservations if there's a must-do meal for your family when you go to Walt Disney World.
So the bottom line here, at least from my perspective, is to go for it, Dianne! I hope you plan this trip and have the most amazing time.
Anna
