About Me

I am a South Philly girl, even though I have lived in South Jersey since high school. I know all of the important things in life, such as the meaning of “Whiz Witout,” what a “Mummer” is, and where to get a good cannoli. I graduated from Rutgers Law School in Camden, and I am a former elementary school teacher. A total domestic goddess, I am on a first-name basis with all the meal delivery people in my neighborhood, and I am a magician at hiding clutter when company comes!

About My Family

My husband and I have been married for over 30 years! In that time, we've managed to build a family that consists of three daughters, a son-in-law, and three amazingly adorable and fantastically funny grandbabies! Jim is a U.S. Navy veteran, an attorney, and a retired senior IT professional with a well-known computer software company, and he is a low vision survivor. Our oldest daughter is a deputy court administrator, as well as mom to those three amazing babies, and our middle daughter is a theater kid, currently working as an assistant stage manager in the Philadelphia area. Our youngest is a budding anime artist who is looking forward to learning to drive. We love to travel, we love cruising, and we are always looking forward to our next big family adventure!

About My Disney Experience

My husband and I honeymooned at Disney World and have been hooked ever since. While living in Orlando for several years, we visited the theme parks as often as we could, even if it was just to watch a parade or grab a bite to eat. Now that we live back in New Jersey, we can still call Orlando "home" with our four different DVC home resorts. As my family’s Disney expert, I have planned vacations for celebrations of every kind and for family members requiring special assistance, like my low vision survivor husband and wheelchair-bound father. I also love helping people who have special dietary needs, thanks to my own adventures with eating after weight loss surgery. We have a family with a big military history, and I've really enjoyed planning special reunion celebrations for the families who have been separated by military commitment.
