Well ahoy there Chad and welcome to planDisney!
I hope you're getting stoked about your upcoming voyage this year! I recently
sailed on the Disney Wish and really enjoyed its interesting updated interior layout that made longtime cruisers and crew alike learn anew how to navigate the meandering halls and pathways on board.
Unfortunately on my cruise a few weeks ago, pin trading had not yet officially made its return to the way it had previously been
across the fleet. Instead, I observed many fellow seafarers actively trading with each other - including one family who seemed to devote a portion of precious luggage space to bringing several boards of pins with them to display. In fact, as you roam the
guest stateroom corridors you may notice pin boards on several doors for easy trading that you may be able to take advantage of! It seems like many Disney pin collectors and fans alike are anxiously looking forward to whether you'll see crew members bedecked in lanyards covered with pins by this summer as the
25th Silver Anniversary at Sea sailings commence.
I think that it's always worth inquiring over at merchandise locations like
Mickey's Mainsail to see whether they have a pin trading board or book available tucked away somewhere just in case. But while you search the ship for fellow traders, it would also be a good opportunity to experience
Disney Uncharted Adventure along the way for an added bit of fun as you roam the Disney Wish!
Feel free to come back to planDisney to ask me any more questions and l
et me know if you experience the return of pin trading on your voyage, and be sure to reach out to our very own Disney Cruise Line specialists
Tracie and
Adrianna!
All the best on your quest to trade for the treasured pins you seek on board!
