I used to be able to price and plan my Disney vacation 1 + year in advance as well as make monthly payments towards my vacation. Am I able to do that again ?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Andrea! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

I'm very happy to report that you can still book a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package and make monthly, weekly, or even daily payments towards your magical trip. However, please keep in mind that Vacation Packages for 2024 haven't been released just yet, so you'll have to keep an eye out for news on the matter. In the past, Vacation Packages for the following calendar year have been released in the late Spring or early Summer, so I expect you to be able to book your vacation around May or June. However, nothing is set in stone! I still suggest that you keep checking back on the Disney Parks Blog just to make sure.

Andrea, even though you won't be able to book anything just yet, I recommend that you start making certain decisions now in order to make the reservation process a lot smoother in the near future. First, I think you should comb through the list of Disney Resorts Collection hotels and pick two or three that fit your budget and vacation style. Next, decide how many days you'll spend at the Theme Parks and think about the ticket type that you'll need! If you want to spend full days at each one of the parks, you'll need One Park Per Day tickets. If you'd like to "hop" between the four Theme Parks, you'll need to purchase tickets with the Park Hopper Option add-on! Finally, you could even start thinking about which restaurants you'd like to visit during your magical vacation. This is the best (and yummiest!) part!

Once you're able to book your Vacation Package, you'll need to make an initial deposit in order to secure your reservation. After that, you'll be able to go back to the My Plans section below the My Disney Experience tab as often as you'd like! You should see a link prompting you to make a payment right next to your confirmation number, and you can make as many payments as you'd like up until one month before your vacation is set to begin.

I hope my answer has helped clarify things for you, Andrea. If you have any other questions for us, please don't hesitate to come right back so we may assist you further! Have a magical day!

    Warm hugs,
