If I’m staying at fort wilderness cabins do I get complimentary parking at the parks of if I elect to drive to them ?

    Hiya Mike!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for visiting us with your question today. Yeeeehaaww... you plan to stay at the best cabins in the wilderness this summer! You'll be enjoying the gorgeous new DVC cabins in an enchanted forest setting. I've heard great things about these amazing cabins, and love how the layout gives your travel party more space than a standard resort room.

I'm happy to confirm that as a guest at Fort Wilderness Cabins - yes, you will receive complementary parking at any of the Disney Parks if you elect to drive your own vehicle. Because Fort Wilderness Cabins are considered part of the Disney Resort Collection, you'll be entitled to all the benefits of staying at a Disney Resort. Did you know that for guests like yourself arriving for a 2025 stay, this includes free admission to a Disney Water Park on arrival day? What a swimmingly good way to kick-off your magical vacation!

There's also both complementary Disney bus and water transportation from your resort to the Disney Parks. My fellow panelist Leslie has some excellent tips on transportation from Fort Wilderness, including bus routes to specific parks and expected travel times. That may help you decide, based on the timing of your park plans and whether you'll be racing to rope dope or not? Personally, my family loves riding the boat over from Fort Wilderness to Magic Kingdom. I enjoy being on the water, and it's such a relaxing way to start our park day. The drop off location right by the park entrance is also very convenient.

If you've got room in your plans for a terrific dinner show, I highly recommend making advance dining reservations for the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review. Located near the Fort Wilderness campsites at Pioneer Hall, this highly entertaining show is loved by all ages and the food is absolutely delicious. It does not disappoint!

I know you'll have a rootin' tootin' good time at the Most Magical Place on Earth, Mike! Please circle back to planDisney and say howdy again if we can offer any pixie-dusted tips on dining, Lightning Lane Passes, or park plans. We love to help create magical memories!

    Reach for the sky!
