Welcome back, Joshua! We are glad you brought your question to us at planDisney.
At this time, in an effort to manage theme park attendance, all Guests must have both
valid admission and a
Disney Park Pass reservation to enter a theme park.
The first time I made Disney Park Pass reservations for my family, I encountered the same error message. Since I am an Annual Passholder, but the rest of my family are not, the system required me to book my Disney Park Pass reservation separately from the rest of my party. I am guessing that might be what is happening in your case as well.
I am happy to let you know that a situation like this will not require a
call to customer service. As long as everyone in your party has a Disney Park Pass reservation along with valid admission, you'll be able to enter the theme park together. It is not necessary for your entire party to be on the same reservation. Perhaps a good analogy would be passengers boarding an airplane; everyone with a boarding pass may board, even though all passengers did not purchase their tickets in the same transaction. When my friends and I visit Walt Disney World Resort together, we each book our own Disney Park Pass for the theme park we have chosen to visit and then meet up when we arrive.
I recently assisted another Guest who had a similar question and
included my response here in case you might find the information useful.
I hope that helps! If I misinterpreted your situation or if you have additional questions, please feel free to
write back. We'd love to help you plan your visit during
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
