Welcome to planDisney, Cathy! We are glad you brought your question to us.
At this time, to enter a theme park, all Guests must have a
Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to valid
admission.
Cathy, I run into this same situation myself when trying to make Disney Park Pass reservations for my family. Because we are using different ticket types (I am an Annual Passholder but the rest of my family is not), the reservation system requires me to book our Disney Park Pass reservations separately. This isn't actually a problem, since Disney Park Pass reservations are not like dining reservations where everyone needs to be on the same reservation in order to be seated at the same table. Think of it more like general admission to an event; as long as everyone has a Disney Park Pass reservation for the same theme park on the same day, you'll be able to enter the theme park together. Even though I make reservations for my party separately, I can see everyone listed when viewing our Disney Park Pass reservations under "My Plans" in
My Disney Experience.
Since I have no way of knowing what type of tickets you hold and if that's what might be causing you to have trouble making your Disney Park Pass reservations together, I'll give you a few other suggestions to try. If you will be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, make sure all 3 of you are listed on your reservation under "My Plans" in My Disney Experience. Sometimes if I am having trouble with My Disney Experience, signing out and signing in again seems to fix the problem.
If none of these suggestions help and you are still having difficulty making your Disney Park Pass reservations, feel free to
write back, or
give the My Disney Experience tech team a call at (407) 939-4357.
