Hi, Lauren! Welcome to planDisney.
Your upcoming trip sounds like such a sweet time as a family. Experiencing Walt Disney World through the eyes of a little one is something truly special. From that first glimpse of
Cinderella Castle to the joy of hugging a beloved character, you’re in for some unforgettable memories as a family. Since your hands will be full, you might want to consider getting the
Memory Maker so that
Disney PhotoPass photographers can snap all your magical moments.
When it comes to
transportation, the good news is that car seats are not required—or typically used—on Disney transportation between your resort and the parks. Whether you're hopping on a bus, monorail, boat, or
Disney Skyliner, your almost-two-year-old can sit on your lap or next to you. If you're using an airport shuttle service, like Mears Connect, you won't need a car seat either. However, for ride shares or taxis, you’ll need to bring your own car seat or choose a service that provides one.
Here’s a little tip: if you want to pack light but still need a car seat for the flight or other parts of your trip, consider a lightweight travel-friendly option or a car seat backpack carrier. It keeps your hands free, especially helpful when wrangling a toddler and a suitcase or two!
