If we are planning a trip for Summer 2027, for a large group of 8 adults and 2 children (aged 6 and 10), what is the best accommodation to suite a large group?

    Hi Rachel!

Welcome to planDisney!  I always feel that the magic of Walt Disney World Resort is best shared with the ones we love - our family and friends!  While it's too soon to know pricing or start making reservations for 2027, I'm happy to share a few resort suggestions to accommodate your group.

Rachel, if you hope your entire group will stay together, you'll want to check out the Deluxe Villas.  In this resort category, select resorts offer 3-bedroom Grand Villas that can often sleep up to 12 people and have multiple bathrooms as well as full kitchens.  There are some great options here no matter what type of vacation you are hoping to enjoy.  The Villas of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are luxurious and just a short monorail ride to Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT.  If you're hoping to take a walk on the wild side and escape the hustle and bustle of the theme parks, I'd suggest Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village.  You can't beat a Savannah View room where the kids in your group will love waking up to see animals roaming right outside their rooms - it's one of my favorite memories from a past family trip!

However, if your group is looking for more budget-friendly options or wants to have separate rooms to return to during your trip, you'll find many other great resort options and can request connecting (includes an interior door) or adjoining (nearby) rooms.  While requests cannot be guaranteed, I've always found Cast Members will do their best to accommodate.  I'd recommend taking a look at Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort if you're interested in having separate rooms for your parties.  Both of these properties are wonderfully themed and give you access to the Disney Skyliner which will easily whisk you away to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Regardless of where you choose to stay in the Disney Resorts Collection, you'll be able to take advantage of many great benefits, including my favorite, Early Theme Park Entry!  I'm sending lots of pixie dust your way, Rachel, as you start planning what I'm sure will be a fabulous vacation!  If you have more questions, please stop by to see us again at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers,
    Kristi
