Can you go off the park grounds for lunch a come back in with a park hopper ticket.

    Hi ya, Justin!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm a big fan of taking a break back at my hotel or grabbing a meal somewhere in the Downtown Disney District during my park days. I'd be happy to be your planning sidekick for your visit!

Yes! Guests are welcome to leave the park and re-enter on the same day. If you have a Park Hopper ticket then you can switch between the theme parks as well! You might want to go explore the Downtown Disney District, visit a restaurant at the Disneyland Resort Hotels, or head back to your own hotel to take a nap. As long as you have a valid theme park ticket and a theme park reservation you can come and go from the parks. The only snag would be if the parks hit capacity, but that hasn't happened since we started using theme park reservations so I wouldn't worry about it happening during your visit.

Taking a break during the day gives me the energy to enjoy the theme parks at night! I love the lights, music, and atmosphere across the parks in the evenings. Make sure you grab an extra layer (or you can always find a great new Disney sweatshirt...there are plenty of options) and enjoy some rides that are unique at night! My favorites are:

Have a fantastic time in the parks, Justin!

    Keep moving forward!
