Hi Dezirae! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm excited to hear that you're planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort! There is no better way to celebrate the new year than a trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! Let's dive into your question and help you get set for your stay.
When purchasing multi-day park tickets, you will have a set number of days to use your tickets. As you mentioned, for
3-day park hopper tickets, you will have 5 consecutive days to use them. Unfortunately, there is no way to extend this time period. Your only way to do so is by increasing the number of days on your park ticket. A 4-day ticket will net you 7 consecutive days of use.
While either option may not be ideal, there are ways to plan your stay to build in some downtime for your little one. With
park hopper tickets, you can hop from park to park throughout each day. Depending on where you are staying, it might make sense to visit a park in the morning for a few hours, then return to your resort for an afternoon break. This will give you time to reset to visit another park in the afternoon/evening. You can also choose to visit the parks on your arrival day if you get in early. This will give you a day in the middle of your trip to relax without visiting the parks.
Dezirae, I hope you have a magical time during your stay! Please stop back and
see us again at planDisney!
