Welcome to planDisney, Peter. We are happy you stopped by with your question.
Peter, as a Mom who started taking my kids when they were barely walking, I appreciate this question. One of the reasons why I love Walt Disney World so much is that there are experiences for all ages, heights, and interests. I fondly remember my (then) 15-month-old riding
"it's a small world" for the first time with my grandmother. He smiled, giggled, and clapped along, all to the delight of everyone else in the boat.
I'm happy to report that you can check the
height requirements for all attractions in advance and plan your day accordingly. You'll find a number of attractions labeled "any height" meaning even babies are welcome to enjoy. Otherwise, you'll find the requirement listed in inches and centimeters. From the Walt Disney World website, hover over the tab "Things to do" and then click on, "
Attractions and Entertainment." You can filter by height or view all. If you are using the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, click on the three horizontal bars in the lower right corner. Then click on the tile reading, "Tip Board." All of the attractions listed for your day will also show height requirements. As you are planning, please note that to board an attraction, Mouseketeers
under age 7 must have a rider accompany them aged 14 or older.
Peter, I'll also encourage you to check out the
planDisney Panel Extras section as you'll see lots of
information about touring the parks with little ones in tow. I hope this helps as you're thinking ahead to 2024 and your Magical visit. Please come on back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
