Hi Stephanie! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with this great question!
Oh boy! I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! While visiting with little ones comes with its challenges, there is nothing quite like the magical memories you will create. I still think back fondly to my first visit with my daughter and holding her in my arms as we watched
Happily Ever After from Main Street, U.S.A. It's a moment that I will cherish for a lifetime!
Stephanie, I have great news for you! Your three-year-old will absolutely be able to ride with both you and your husband. One of the perks that sometimes occurs when using
Rider Switch is that the other Guest does not necessarily have to experience the attraction alone. If you have a willing participant (as in your three-year-old), they can ride with each of you and have the chance to experience the attraction twice. When booking your Lightning Lane, you'll make your selection for all three of you. When it's time to ride, head to the front of the line and tell the Cast Member you need to use Rider Switch. They will ask who is riding second and also if your three-year-old will be going again. They will then scan each of their MagicBands to allow them to return to the Lightning Lane once you come off the attraction. You can repeat this process on any ride throughout the park that your youngest can not ride.
If you're not aware, there are
Baby Care Centers at each of the theme parks that you can utilize throughout the day. Many of them have been remodeled over the past couple of years and have everything you need. There are quiet areas and changing stations to use as needed. You can find the location of each one by using the
My Disney Experience App or simply ask a Cast Member at the park to point you in the right direction.
Stephanie, I hope you have a magical time with your family!
