I’m going to Disneyland Paris on Halloween because in previous years, adults were allowed to dress up in costume on Halloween, are Disneyland Paris allowing that again this year? We will be severely disappointed if they have changed that tradition

    Bienvenue à PlanDisney, Rebecca!

I'm so excited that you found planDisney while getting ready for your spooktacular visit to Disneyland Paris next month. It sounds like you're ready for a full Halloween transformation, and I am absolutely here for it! Disneybounding during special events is always such a treat (and no tricks involved!)—Halloween brings even more chances for some festive, playful magic. So, let's dive in and make sure you're all set for a boo-tiful time.

First things first—did you know you can chat with Cast Members directly through the official Disneyland Paris Facebook page? Today, I had a quick conversation with a super helpful Cast Member named Stanislas (who was as patient as a pumpkin and as wise as an owl!) and he gave me all the details you need about the Halloween dress code for adults.

So, here’s the scoop: In 2024, just like in years past, adults are allowed to wear full costumes in the parks only on October 31st. But, there are some important guidelines to keep in mind:

    • Masks can’t cover your whole face or mouth.
    • Keep it family-friendly—no excessive blood or super gory makeup.
    • No long capes or dresses that drag behind you.
    • Accessories like fake arms or muscles (sorry Hulk!), and water guns or toy weapons, are not permitted.
    • Security may ask you to remove parts of your costume, so it's a good idea to have a backup plan in case you need to make a quick costume change!

We're a little early for the Halloween season at the resort, but be sure to follow Disneyland Paris' official Instagram page for updates on the latest costuming rules for October 31st guests. It’s always a good idea to stay in the loop!

I hope this helps you feel fully prepared to Be Our Guest at Disneyland Paris this Halloween! I know you’ll have a frightfully fun and one-of-a-kind time! Come back and see me next time you have questions about your adventures in the great wide somewhere—I want it more than I can tell.

    C’est la fệte!
