Oh là là, Nellie!
Welcome back to planDisney! You and your little princess are about to set off on an adventure that’s straight out of a fairy tale! Disneyland Paris is calling, and in my opinion, the only thing more magical than strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. is
hearing Princess Belle say “Bonjour!” But don’t worry one bit about the language change. Whether you’re dreaming of
castles or
croissants, I’ve got some tips to help you and your little one feel right at home!
As a millennial mom, I totally understand wanting to prepare our little princess for new experiences and adventures. I’ve found that sprinkling in some fun Disney magic can go a long way. I’m partial to letting my 3-year-old listen to my favorite Disney jams—like “
Be Our Guest,” “
A Whole New World,” and “
Under the Sea”—
in their French versions. It’s a fun way to introduce the language while keeping those familiar melodies we all love! And don’t get me started on the modern classics like “Love is an Open Door” and “Where You Are.” It’s like adding an extra dash of pixie dust to our sing-alongs!
But Nellie, when you arrive at Disneyland Paris, you’ll quickly see that language won’t be a problem at all. And hey, the Walt Disney Company is American, after all, so you'll find plenty of English spoken throughout the parks. From Cast Members to attraction signage, there's a lot of helpful English to go around. Plus, most of the
parades and
several of the shows are bilingual, so you and your daughter will be able to enjoy every bit of the magic.
It’s been a delight sharing these tips with you, Nellie! I’m just as excited as you are to plan this magical visit, so I hope you’ll
come back again the next time you seek adventure in the great wide somewhere—I want it more than I can tell.
C’est la fệte! Danielle
