Hi there, David!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I can tell that you are far into your Disney vacation planning journey because you know that Memory Maker is the best way to capture unforgettable moments. Disney PhotoPass photographers (usually dressed in shades of green) are practically everywhere around the theme parks and you’ll sometimes find them in other parts of the Resort like at Disney Springs and hotels. And your favorite shots may just be on-ride photos. You and your girlfriend will love seeing your silly (or not-so-frightened) faces in your
My Disney Experience app photo gallery.
You are in luck because you can go ahead and
purchase Memory Maker whenever you’d like. I suggest that you get it when you book your trip so that you don’t forget it later. The second best time to get it is when you’re more than 3 days away from your arrival date because you will get an advance purchase discount. Make sure that it links to your
My Disney Experience account. From there, it activates as soon as you scan for your first photo together.
Once you’ve started to tap your
MagicBand+ or ticket to get your photos (on some rides, you’ll collect them automatically), you can view them in the My Disney Experience app. If your girlfriend is linked to your account, she will have access to the photos and videos, too! Your digital media will be ready to download in the app and on the
official PhotoPass website for 45 days from the date of each captured memory. And you can download everything at once on the desktop site, which is even more convenient post-vacation.
David, I’m wishing on a star that you two get to create so many magical memories in September—and beyond! If you have any additional questions about your upcoming Disney World vacation,
reach out to us here at planDisney.
Magic always,
LeAndra
