I'm a very detailed planner and plan to only visit one park each day. Looks like I can save $$ by not getting the hopper? I hear others say you waste a lot of time going back and forth from parks. I sure there is enough to keep us busy in one park a day.

I have never purchased the park hopper option.  I am also a detailed planner, and have always found much more that I want to do at a park than I can hope to accomplish in one day.  Please keep in mind that I usually try to take a break in the middle of the day, so I do not plan a full day in any park.

I think the park hopper is most useful for attending shows, parades or fireworks at different parks on the same day.  In my experience it doesn't work well for going to another park to go on the attractions, because they will typically have long lines by the time you get there.  We like short lines, and we don't hop just to see shows, parades or fireworks, so the park hopper option isn't worth it for us.

Please be aware that many will disagree with my opinion on this one.  Disney sells many park hopper passes, so there clearly are a lot of fans.
