I’m a current college student in SoCal that’s looking to buy a SoCal Resident Imagine Key! I won’t have a government ID until after the keys go on sale, I was wondering if there’s any other proof of residency I can use to prove I’m a resident?

    Hello, Sona!

Welcome to planDisney! I have many happy memories of visiting the Disneyland Resort with my college friends, I don't blame you for looking into a Magic Key pass!

The Imagine Key does have specific residency requirements, and guests are required to present a valid, government-issued photo ID with an address within those ZIP codes to enter the parks. There is currently no accepted alternate proof of residency documentation. I'm sorry! If you will be living in the area for a few years while you study then it could be worth updating your ID so that you can enjoy future ticket offers!

In addition to Magic Key passes, there are often seasonal promotional offers for SoCal residents. Keep an eye on the Offers and Discounts Page to see if there are any current offers once you have your new ID!

There is plenty to look forward to at the Disneyland Resort this year, Sona! The Disney Parks Blog recently shared the calendar of events for 2024 and it is packed with pixie dust, lightsabers, best friends, and great food. If the Imagine Key doesn't work out for you this time I hope you'll be able to make plans to visit "The Happiest Place on Earth" very, very soon.

    Keep moving forward!
