I am thrilled to hear that you are considering a Magic Key pass for the
Disneyland Resort. Your question comes just in time, as it was recently announced that all four Magic Key passes will be available to purchase again on January 10, 2024, no earlier than 9 am PST.
When purchasing a
Magic Key pass, online or at the ticket booth, it will be active as of the first day it is scanned for entry into either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park or when using the parking benefit on a pass for a fully-paid first entry into a pay-on-entry lot at the Disneyland Resort.
For example, if you purchase a Magic Key pass on January 10, 2024, but do not scan for entry into either Park until August 9, 2024, the pass will activate on August 9, 2024, and is valid for one (1) year from that initial date of entry.
