Hi, 👋 I’m coming to Disney Florida soon and have a stay at All Star Movies. We’re thinking of treating ourselves to a night mid break at the Grand Flo/Poly as a surprie. But I’ve read you can’t have two reservations for same night.

It's so good to have you back here at planDisney, Katie! Your upcoming holiday sounds positively wonderful, especially with a mid-break hop over to either Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa or Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. I'd be happy to help you trade in the clapperboard and director's chair at Disney's All-Star Movies Resort for relaxing palms or Victorian elegance along the shores of Seven Seas Lagoon for a night.

I have answered a few questions here at planDisney about booking two rooms at one time and if it's possible to have overlapping hotel reservations, and my advice each time has been to get in touch with a friendly Cast Member who works with hotel reservations over the phone or via email. This way you'll be able to describe what you are aiming to do on your vacation and ensure that everything goes smoothly with your My Disney Experience app and account. This will be especially important for your tickets and if you choose to unlock your room using the app. Cast Members with hotel reservations expertise will be able to guide you and let you know what to expect when you make your way over to the Magic Kingdom area resorts for the night in the middle of your trip.

Speaking of these Deluxe Resorts, have you decided which you'd like to book? It's certainly a tough choice, as both offer incredible amenities, delicious dining, and immaculate vibes at the pool, lobby, and resort grounds. My family and I have a soft spot for the Polynesian, as we love dining at 'Ohana, sliding through a volcano on the water slide at the pool, and enjoying the overall tropical feeling we get when we walk around the resort. It really makes us feel like we're on "island time" all trip long, and I definitely recommend you stay there!

I hope you have a great holiday in Walt Disney World and enjoy treating yourself to a night at a Deluxe resort, Katie! If you have more questions between now and your travel date, just pop back by and let us know. We're all ears!

    Stay magical,
    Scott
