Hi! I'm booking a Walt Disney World package for September 2026. The party is 1 adult and 2 kids (6 and 9). I want to confirm, does the Free Dining Plan for Kids offer apply to both children even though there's only 1 adult in the package?

    Welcome to planDisney, Patricia!

There's nothing I love more than eating, drinking, and snacking my way around The Most Magical Place on Earth! And when I can do it using the Disney Dining Plan? Well, that's even better! In fact, my family just returned from our latest Walt Disney World adventure, and we took full advantage of the Free Dining Plan for Kids in 2026 promotion. My husband and I loved knowing our food was already paid for, and our kids loved knowing their next snack was always just around the corner!

Patricia, I really can't stress what a fantastic deal this promotion is. Even with two adults and two children in our party, we saved a significant amount of money (well, re-routed is probably more accurate, since we wound up spending it on Lightning Lanes!).

I am SO happy to share that this promotion will apply to both of your kids, even with only one adult in your party. With this offer, all children (between the ages of 3-9) get a free dining plan when all of the adults purchase a Disney Dining Plan. Since there's only one adult in your party, your kids qualify as long as you buy a dining plan for yourself!

Before I let you go, I want to make sure you know about another offer you may qualify for based on your arrival date. If you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and you check in before September 8, 2026, you'll receive free waterpark admission on your check-in day! This means you can spend your first day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach, at no additional cost. I recently visited Blizzard Beach with my pal JoAnna, and I strongly suggest renting a locker to store your valuables and wearing water shoes to protect your feet!

I hope this helps, Patricia, and that your upcoming Disney World vacation is as magical as it is delicious! If you have any other planning questions, you know where to find me right here at planDisney.

    Cheers,

    Allison
