Yes! You can use the
dining plan to cover a
Fantasmic Dining Package. A Fantasmic! Dining Package will use 1 Table-Service meal from your plan. It seems like an obvious choice to book the package. You’ll receive an entree, a dessert, and a beverage, which can be an alcoholic beverage if you’re over 21. You’ll also receive a voucher at your meal that will secure you seating in a reserved area of the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater for
Fantasmic! 50's Prime Time Café,
Hollywood & Vine, and
Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant all redeem one table-service credit, while
The Hollywood Brown Derby redeems two table-service credits. My family and I purchased a Fantasmic! Dining Package when we were at
Disney Hollywood Studios a few weeks ago, and it was a wonderful experience. The meal was excellent, and our seats were amazing! The show was magical, and it was an experience my kids will never forget!
Make sure you arrive between 90 and 25 minutes before your showing so you can get to your seats in time. Our dining package was a lunch meal, so we were on our own for dinner. Since we had a late lunch, we bought dinner from a quick-service location, took it into the amphitheater, and ate while we waited for the show to start. The only food sold inside is light snacks, so plan accordingly. Also, there was a bit of wind on the night we were there, and I noticed the first few rows were feeling a bit of spray from the combination of fountains and wind. I’d sit a few rows back if you’re concerned about getting wet!
I just checked the availability at Hollywood and Vine for August 24th (though I suppose that may not be the exact date you want to reserve). There are still quite a few breakfast and lunch reservations, though the dinner reservations are almost gone. If you’re hoping for a dinner reservation, head to the website to secure your reservation right away!
