Hey Amanda,
Welcome back to planDisney! If you’re familiar with Frozen, I wake up like Anna when I’m at Walt Disney World. I’m in a daze at first until I realize, “It’s coronation day!” then I hop out of bed, ready for a day in the parks. It sounds like you might be the same way!
According to the
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass Terms and Conditions, the Passholder must be in the vehicle at the time of entry to receive the parking benefit. The Passholder must also present their valid Pass and may be asked to provide photo identification. This means your dad would not be able to use your parking benefit if you arrive at the theme parks separately. If you still plan on arriving at the theme parks separately, it may be better for you to drive and your dad to take the ride-share service.
Don’t forget about the other benefits that Annual Passholders receive, Amanda. At this time, many of the dining discounts are offered for the Passholder and up to three Guests, so that is one benefit you can enjoy with your dad. I keep the
Passholder Discounts page open on my phone’s web browser so I can quickly check the important information about each benefit.
Your visit is coming up soon, so make sure you stop by Creations Shop in EPCOT to pick up your
Passholder magnet which is only available through February 28, 2025. Then head over to
Regal Eagle Smokehouse and grab the Passholder Exclusive Frozen Lavender Lemonade! You’ll also see
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts-themed merchandise and 2025 Walt Disney World merchandise specially designed for Annual Passholders!
I hope this was helpful, Amanda. You never know, maybe your dad will be ready for the theme parks bright and early with you! With my family, we are usually trying to find that perfect balance of getting to the theme parks early but also trying to stay late enough for fireworks. We may have to make compromises but everyone is happy to be in Disney World! If you have any future questions, you know where to
find us at planDisney!
