Hi Riley! Your birthday sounds like it is going to be a great time! Dinner at
Cinderella’s Royal Table followed by the Happily Ever After fireworks show will be a perfect celebration! I celebrated my 40th at the neighboring castle (Be Our Guest Restaurant)! It was a great way to bring the family together for a birthday celebration!
The
Happily Ever After fireworks show typically lights up the nighttime sky over Magic Kingdom Park around 9:00 PM in August. Official times will be released once we get closer to summer. Guests begin positioning themselves very early for this show. If you want a prime viewing location, I recommend that your birthday dinner be done no later than 7:00 PM so you can leave the restaurant to find your spot.
Riley, one important note to keep in mind is that
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party usually begins in mid-August. That means the park closes for day Guests and remains open for Guests with tickets for the party on select nights. The Happily Ever After fireworks show does not occur on Halloween party nights. There is a special fireworks show on party nights. So, if you have your heart set on seeing Happily Ever After, I recommend checking the party dates when they are released (probably in April). Avoid a Halloween party night if you really want to celebrate your birthday with Happily Ever After!
As a PRO TIP for your birthday, be sure to request a special birthday celebration button at either your Walt Disney World Resort hotel or at Magic Kingdom Park! Your birthday button is complimentary! Consider it Mickey’s way of saying, “Happy Birthday” to you!
Dreams do come true!
