I want to buy a annual pass for my nephew for his birthday under my account. but I want the mother to have the childs pass under her account. Is that possible?

    Hi Brigitte,

    Welcome to planDisney!

Well, you are in the lead for auntie of the year with this gift!

When you purchase that Annual Pass, it will need to be assigned to your nephew's profile in My Disney Experience. Given that his profile may be managed by his mother and you are a Florida resident, this answer is a little tricky. If you have access to the nephew in your Family & Friends List, you should be able to purchase an annual pass and assign it to your nephew. If his profile is managed by his mother, you would need to make sure she is sharing her Family & Friends List so that you can see your nephew in your Family & Friends List - this may entail sending an invitation to connect. When I did this recently, I had to click on a link that said "Connect My Managed Profiles." If you still cannot access his profile to assign that pass online or through the My Disney Experience Mobile App, I suggest that you call to speak to a cast member. If you do have to call, I also recommend having his mother available for the call.

Since you are a Florida resident, I did call to speak with a cast member about the purchase of an annual pass for your nephew. Remember that you would need to verify eligibility for any of the passes intended for Florida residents. If he is not a Florida resident, you need to purchase an Incredi-Pass. The cast member also stressed that if that annual pass is not activated within the time period allotted, it is non-refundable. Please review the Annual Pass Terms and Conditions
Remember that Annual Passholders may still need to make theme park reservations on certain days, so be sure to check the theme park reservation availability calendar.

Now, back to the fun part, the BIRTHDAY! As you plan for your nephew's birthday, consider all of the benefits of being an annual passholder including certain discounts on merchandise and dining. I love being a member of the Annual Passholder family and my family values the discounts. If we do not use a Disney Dining Plan, we definitely use our Annual Passholder discount at restaurants where it is accepted.

Brigitte, I do hope you plan to celebrate your nephew's birthday in one of the theme parks! Consider Magic Kingdom, dining at Be Our Guest Restaurant, and ending the day with the Happily Ever After fireworks. Your place as auntie of the year may be solidified!

    Magic and memories,
    Donyell
