I am planning to purchase 4 parks and 4 days one park per day ticket. My daughter will turn 10 during the middle of these 4 days. Should i purchase childrens ticket (3-9 years) or adult ticket(10+)

Welcome to planDisney, Kamini! Let me be the first to wish your daughter a Happy Birthday! It sounds like you've got a magical celebration in the works for her already, and since it's just around the river bend, let's jump into your question so you can secure those tickets and focus on all the fun and magic that awaits!

The official Walt Disney World Resort policy for tickets is that when purchasing Theme Park Tickets, you should use the age your child will be turning during the trip if they will be celebrating a birthday. In your situation, since your daughter will be reaching an important Disney milestone and moving up from a child ticket to an adult ticket, you should purchase her an adult ticket for this trip. Since you mentioned her birthday falls in the middle of the trip, you could also opt to purchase a child ticket for the days she will still be 9 and then an adult ticket for the days she will be 10, but with the Four Day 4-Park Magic Ticket promotion currently available, it looks like the better value is to opt for the adult ticket with this special ticket offer.

Now that we've got the tickets situated, I'd love to give you a few tips for a little extra birthday magic for your daughter:

    • Stop by Guest Relations at any of the theme parks and ask for a complimentary Happy Birthday button that she can wear with pride! She'll get lots of magical birthday wishes from Cast Members and other Guests with this button!
    • At Magic Kingdom Park, stop by Sir Mickey's and ask for some pixie dust! The Cast Members are happy to sprinkle a little magic on you (birthday or not!) and you can even check out the Royal Portrait Studio while you're there for some birthday photos that will be included with your Memory Maker purchase!
    • Don't forget to get a Mickey Mouse balloon for some iconic birthday photos in front of Cinderella Castle!
    • Check out the Top 5 Must-Dos for Spring Break 2024 from my panelist pals Jenna and Donyell! They give some great tips for older kiddos to find magic this spring!
I hope this helps to make your daughter's birthday extra special; please come back anytime if there's anything else we can do to help you celebrate!

    Magic Awaits,
