I’d like to get a rental car for one night of my stay while I’m in Disney World. I’d pick up the rental at the airport upon landing at MCO. Is it possible to return the car while on Disney property still, or will I have to return it at MCO? Thanks!

Hello Darren and welcome back to planDisney!

When I think of Walt Disney and cars, I immediately think of Lightning McQueen, Ka-chow!  Wouldn’t it be nice if Lightning could pick us up at the airport and drop us off at our Disney destination?  With my luck we would probably meet up with Tow Mater somewhere along the way!

Darren, you can absolutely rent a vehicle at Orlando International Airport and set the dropoff point for the Disney Car Care Center at Walt Disney World! The Car Care Center offers rental car services through Enterprise, Alamo and National, and they even provide a complimentary shuttle that will take you back to your Disney Resort Collection hotel or even a theme park if that is on your list of plans for the day!

Darren, my family, utilized the Car Care Center during a holiday trip while staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.  We rented a minivan from Punta Gorda, Florida where we had flown in to visit relatives.  When we arrived at the Polynesian, I dropped off my family and our luggage and drove to the nearby Car Care Center.  I completed the reservation paperwork, and minutes later I was on a shuttle back to the Polynesian!  It was a lightning quick process, Ka-chow!

Darren, I hope your stay doesn’t involve a Tow Mater, but it does include a Mickey Bar or two!  Have a magical time!
