Where is the id for my memory maker I purchased

Hi Maeve! Welcome to planDisney. I’m so glad you stopped by with this question, because capturing memories is such an important part of any Walt Disney World visit (and those photos really do become more meaningful as time goes on).

To find the ID for your Memory Maker purchase, the first place I recommend checking is the email address linked to your My Disney Experience account. After purchasing Memory Maker, you should receive a confirmation email that includes your confirmation number. In many cases, Memory Maker links automatically to your account, but if it doesn’t appear right away, that confirmation number is exactly what you’ll need. A quick sign-out and sign-in of your My Disney Experience account can also help refresh things.

Once you have your confirmation number, open the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device. Tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner to open the menu, then scroll down to Disney PhotoPass and select “Shop Memory Maker.” On the next screen, choose “Link It to Your Account” and enter your confirmation number. After that, everything should be properly connected and ready to go. If you run into any trouble, a Cast Member at the Disney PhotoPass support line will be happy to help walk you through it.

After you start snapping photos in the parks, you can view them directly in the My Disney Experience app. Tap the three horizontal lines again, then select Photo Gallery to see your images. Your photos will initially appear with a watermark until you activate your Memory Maker. Once activated, photos taken within the next 45 days will be available for unlimited downloads through the app or online. You’ll also be able to download photos taken by up to 25 friends or family members connected to you through your Family & Friends List, which is especially helpful if your group splits up during the day.

One PhotoPass tip I always love sharing is to take full advantage of attraction photos. My family has made a tradition of striking the same pose on certain rides year after year, and one of our most treasured keepsakes is a recurring photo from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. It’s amazing how a single snapshot can tell such a long story. Creating a signature pose is a fun way to add personality to your PhotoPass collection and bring those memories to life long after your trip ends.

I hope this helps you feel confident and ready to capture every magical moment of your visit, Maeve. If any other questions pop up as you plan, we’d love to welcome you back here at planDisney.

And don’t forget to say cheese!
