Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Kara! You're a generous person to help your son and his family enjoy some
Walt Disney World Resort magic. Since they'll arrive in a few sleeps, let's look at how you can be sure their theme park tickets are accessible.
First, be sure you're sharing plans
with your son and his family in your account. Hover over the "My Disney Experience" tab online and select "My Family & Friends" to see a list of guests linked to your account. If you need to connect with anyone, you can send an invitation using their email or their unique scanning code if you're together. My pal Phillip also
walks you through the steps using your mobile app.
Once connected, you can reassign any unused theme park ticket to guests in your Family & Friends list. I like to do this in my mobile app by tapping the "My Tickets & Passes" tile on the Welcome screen. You can swipe through your tickets and tap the blue "Reassign Ticket" icon to select the family member to whom you'd like to assign each ticket.
Feel free to call New Tickets for help with admissions, and the My Disney Experience line can help with questions about sharing plans.
One tip you can offer your family is to buy
Memory Maker for their visit. This will give them unlimited digital downloads of all the PhotoPass photos taken during their trip. And if they purchase
Memory Maker Advance at least three days before their arrival, they'll be eligible for a discount. My favorite PhotoPass spot is on the walkway to the left of Cinderella Castle in
Magic Kingdom Park. The castle sparkles overhead, and no other guests are in the shot. It's magical!
Kara, I hope your family has a fabulous visit. Maybe they'll bring back a fun souvenir for you! Thanks for stopping by
planDisney.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
