Hello, Joseph!
It's so nice to meet you! I want to start by thanking you and your family for your service. Please know that you are very appreciated!
The current terms and conditions for
Southern California Resident Tickets do require adults to present a government-issued photo ID to visit the parks. I'm sorry that won't work for your family! However, I did a little math and it looks like the
2024 Military Promotional Park Hopper Tickets are actually a better deal because they include park hopping privileges, which the resident tickets don't automatically have. So that's a nice perk that you can use, hopefully!
I don't know how close to the resort you live, but a little staycation is always fun! Did you know that
eligible US military members can also use discounts on Disneyland Resort Hotels? You can! It might be the perfect way to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary...or a Tuesday! You'll need to call to ask about availability if you're interested in booking a stay.
One of my events at Disneyland Park is the Flag Retreat Ceremony on Main Street, U.S.A. each afternoon. The short presentation happens at the flag pole and it's really touching, especially for military families! You can find out what time the ceremony will be by opening the
Disneyland Mobile App, tapping the pin icon to open the map, setting the filter to "Entertainment" and then tapping on the magic hat icon near the flag pole. It's usually around 4:15 PM, but it's a good idea to check and make sure!
Thanks again for your question, Joseph, and your sacrifice for our country. We are lucky to have heroes like you!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
