Lauren,
Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!
Some dreams are really good ones and seeing Walt Disney World at Christmas is one of those really good dreams! I happen to be taking my family in late November, specifically so we can bask in the glow of the holiday cheer!
Yes, typically
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party dates will start around the 10th of November, so your dates for visiting should be right there at the starting dates for the party. As it happens, this year's first party is scheduled for November 9th. So, depending on how Disney schedules things out, somewhere in your week you should start to see the first holiday party dates filling the calendar.
BONUS TIP #1WARNING! The first couple of parties typically sell out quickly, so I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the announcement that tickets are available. That way you can get a jump on ordering tickets for your preferred night. Typically you will see tickets go on sale in late June.
BONUS TIP #2The parades and fireworks at the Magic Kingdom special event are two of the best parts of the party! Make sure you try to watch both
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, as they are a real treat!
BONUS TIP #3Most of the Disney resorts will have special extra displays, often created by their restaurant staff, that are worthy of the time to visit. Likely the most famous is the gingerbread house they put up in the lobby of
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. It is so big they have a cast member inside who sells gingerbread houses you can take with you!
