My husband and i are staying at the Disney Beach club in Orlando. I have a reservation for dinner to the Boathouse. I was looking for scenic transportation there

    Hi Mary,

Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about transportation between the fabulous Beach Club Resort and The Boathouse, one of my favorite restaurants at Disney Springs.

While The Boathouse -- with its nautical decor and waterfront views -- is one of the most scenic restaurants at Walt Disney World, I'm sorry to say that I can't think of a scenic way to travel there from the Beach Club Resort since the areas aren't connected by boat service.

If you want to use the complimentary Disney transportation, the only direct route is on one of the Walt Disney World buses, which will take you from the Beach Club bus stop to the entrance of the Town Center section of Disney Springs. It's then a short walk to The Boathouse.

If you want to soar over some of the Epcot area resorts on the way, you could take the Skyliner from the Epcot station adjacent to the Beach Club to the Caribbean Beach Resort and transfer to a bus there. But that would be time-consuming and still involves a bus.

Your other option would be a rideshare vehicle or, if you want some Disney flair, a polka-dotted Minnie Van that would pick you up at the Beach Club lobby and drop you off near the Town Center entrance of Disney Springs, closer to the restaurant than the regular rideshare drop-off point.

I hope that's what you were looking for, Mary. Please let us know if you have other questions about transportation, dining, shopping or spending time in the theme parks and resorts of Walt Disney World.

    Enjoy,

    Wilma
