Hi Angela,
Welcome to planDisney! I know you can't wait to be amid the magic of Walt Disney World in a few short weeks.
The new
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade usually happens once or twice a night at
Magic Kingdom. The route takes the glowing floats and performers along Main Street USA and through Frontierland, and the view is amazing no matter where you are along the route. I like to watch from Frontierland, where I have usually found there are fewer spectators.
The schedules for the parade normally are posted about three weeks in advance. As it gets closer to your visit, you should be able to find the times on the
Hours & Events Calendar.
Please note that
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is scheduled at Magic Kingdom on August 21 and August 23, so the park will close to guests without Not-So-Scary tickets at 6 p.m. The parade on those evenings for the party guests will be Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade.
I hope that's helpful, Angela, and that your family will be able to experience the magic of Starlight on August 20 or August 22. Please let us know if you have any other questions as your vacation nears.
Enjoy,
Wilma
