    My husband and I are planning a WDW trip in August of 2014. This will be our first real family trip and I'm excited but I have to say I am a little lost! Where can I rent a car so that I can travel out of WDW to eat out? We are not including dining plan.

    There are several places that you can rent a car.You can rent one at the airport, but on property there are several other places. 

    National & Alamo 
    AAA Car Care Center
    Shades of Green Resort
    Dolphin Resort

    Hotel Plaza Boulevard Locations
    Buena Vista Palace Hotel    : National & Alamo
    Hilton Hotel: Avis
    Doubletree Hotel: Budget
    Holiday Inn: Dollar
    Royal Plaza Hotel: Enterprise

    These can change, so you can confirm their locations online at the rental company sites. 

    The easiest of these is to go are the AAA Car Care Center (which has free shuttle pickup) or the Dolphin Resort, which is easy to get to from many of the parks and other Epcot area resorts.
