Ahoy, Kathrine! Welcome aboard planDisney.
I'm sorry to hear that your husband might miss out on your Disney Cruise. It’s tough when work interferes with special plans, especially a Disney vacation! Since you booked through Costco, you’ll need to reach out to them directly. In most cases, changing a Guest on your reservation is possible, though there may be a small fee. However, some reservations have restrictions, and changes might not be allowed. The agent will be able to review your booking and let you know your options.
If you had any
Port Adventures booked or onboard dining, you must add your mom to those activities. She won’t automatically replace your husband. If you have already received your luggage tags, cross off your husband’s name and write in the new Guest’s name.
I hope everything works out and your husband can join you. But if not, you can reserve a
Placeholder Reservation through the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for a future family vacation. This flexible reservation provides a generous 24-month window to choose your next cruise, and you'll enjoy a 10% discount on prevailing rates for most sailings. You’ll find all the most up-to-date details in the app once you board the ship.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Wishing you a magical cruise ahead!
SEAS the adventure!
