I use a grounding mat when I sleep. Am I allowed to bring it on our cruise on the Wish?

Happy New Year, Jodi! Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney.

Escaping the snow and cold for a quick Bahamian getaway sounds like a fantastic way to recharge before the New Year begins. A day at Disney Castaway Cay will surely chase away those winter blues!

Disney Cruise Line prohibits certain household items for safety reasons. I’m not familiar with grounding mats, but I did some research, and if your grounding mat requires plugging in, it would be classified as an electrical item and prohibited. To avoid any surprises during embarkation, I recommend reviewing Disney Cruise Line's official Prohibited Items list before packing.

Rest assured, Jodi, that once you're onboard, relaxation and adventure await! You can catch a movie at one of the two cinemas, including the new “Mufasa: The Lion King.” Test your knowledge with trivia, meet your favorite Disney pals, or relax by the pool and watch the sea drift by. When you’re off exploring the ship, pay attention to the carpet near the elevators. It’s blue in the back of the ship and green in the front. Just remember, blue = back, and you’ll never get lost!

    SEAS the adventure!
