My husband & I are looking to book a trip to Disney in March (2014). Would love some insight/rec on resorts that would be great for our toddler (2.5 yrs) son, includes good restaurants & activities (pools, etc.) & is convenient to the parks.

    Hi Steph,

In my opinion, the best combination of park access, great pool, and variety of easy-to-reach restaurants happens at the Beach Club resort. Stormalong Bay, the pool shared by the Yacht & Beach Clubs, is by far the best at Walt Disney World. The sand-bottom area is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. From the Beach Club, you can walk to the Boardwalk and Epcot (the epicenter of great Disney dining) and take a quick boat ride to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Another good option would be the Grand Floridian with its great monorail access to the Magic Kingdom and all the restaurants along the monorail line.

If you're looking at other price points, the Caribbean Beach resort has lots of fun sandy areas for little ones to dig. And the new Art of Animation resort has a fabulous children's water play area and an innovative food court with many customizable options.

I'm happy to provide more information about any of these resorts. Just let me know what you need.
